Congratulations to Gregoire Mariethoz who has won the 2013 Andrei Borisovich Vistelius Research Award of the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences.
The Andrei Borisovich Vistelius Research Award is awarded biennially to a young scientist for promising contributions in research in the application of mathematics or informatics in any field of the earth sciences.
Greg now has a keynote speaker invite and an award to collect! Congratulations!!

Results published from a research project between the Land Development Department (LDD) Thailand and UNSW has demonstrated how 2-dimensional mapping can be used to understand soil salinity adjacent to a earthen canal in north east Thailand (Khongnawang et al. 2020).
